Keith Goodwin, 64 years of age, of DeWitt, passed away at Bryan Medical Center West on Saturday evening, June 29, 2024.
He was born Aug. 31, 1959, in Tylertown, Mississippi, to Teddy and Peggy (Magee) Goodwin. Keith and Irene Farias were married in 1996. He was an over-the-road truck driver until he retired due to ill health. Keith enjoyed gardening, fishing, NASCAR and local racing, and working in his shop. Keith especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dogs, Gus and Mouse.
Survivors include his wife, Irene, of DeWitt; his mother, Peggy London of Waverly; daughters, Cati (Dallas) Havens of Lincoln, Holly Wilkinson of Port Angeles, Washington, and Jessica Goodwin of Grandview, Missouri; stepson, Joshua (Zabrina) Roussan of Lincoln; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Cathi (Scott) Arneson of DeWitt, Lisa London of Lincoln, and Mike London of Kearney. He was preceded in death by his father, Teddy Goodwin; brother, Billy Goodwin; and great-nephew Jackson Kurth.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in DeWitt. There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation has taken place.
